Rafidah’s “two or three” recalcitrants – Who are they?

In her hospital bed after her successful kneecap replacement surgery on Thursday, Rafidah Aziz gave a long interview for Mingguan Malaysia, in which she declared that “except two or three people” – “kecuali dua tiga orang” – all in Parliament and the country accepted her explanations about the AP scandal and Proton controversy.

Who are these “dua tiga orang” recalcitrants?

Let me make a guess.

From his speech on the 2006 budget debate in Parliament yesterday, Barisan Nasional MP for Bintulu, Tiong King Sing must be one. Tiong virtually called on Rafidah to resign as MITI Minister before she brings more shame to Parliament and herself.

I presume I must be one of the recalcitrants. But I am in good company, as the third “recalcitrant” cannot but be former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad who established his unchallenged qualifications to be among the “kecuali dua tiga orang” when he gave the rolling AP scandal another shove yesterday.

Mahathir said: “The Government must not cover up and lie to the public, it’s wrong”

He said based on what he had read in the newspapers, most of the questions raised by the MPs went unanswered (by Rafidah).

Will Rafidah declare Mahathir as the “ringleader” of the “two or three” recalcitrants against her?

What is your guess of the “dua tiga orang” Rafidah was flaying in her Mingguan Malaysia for refusing to accept her explanations on the AP scandal and Proton controversy like the overwhelming majority in the country.

Sorry, no prizes for the right guesses.
